We Believe

Here at RockSong Church we believe:

  1. We have all been created for Worship.
  2. Worship is our eternal calling and destiny.
  3. Worship is an action word.
  4. Worship takes you somewhere - Zion. Zion is the place of God's presence, and our hopeful destination in each and every one of our services.

What Happens in Worship?

Though no one is required to participate in our act of worship as a body together, we do believe that something happens on a personal level when we respond actively to the call of worship. As is evidenced in our services, when we begin to physically show our love toward God, He shows up! His presence becomes tangible and intimate as we touch His heart with our praise and He touches ours with His love and His life.

We don’t believe that you have to be in a service, a church, or even with other believers in order to get to Zion, that place of worship in God’s presence. Whether you are in your car in bumper to bumper traffic, in the middle of your kitchen surrounded by your screaming children, at your desk with deadlines pressuring you, or a hospital bed with a hopeless diagnosis, an Act of Worship can catapult you into that most holy place with our miraculous, life-changing God.

What is an Act of Worship?

Worship can take the form of a shout and a dance rejoicing in our great God. It can be a song of praise. It can be a wave of your hands as a sign of your belief in His salvation. It can be the bowing of your knee in recognition of His rule and reign. It can be a monetary offering as an admission of His authority in your finances. The list could go on and on. We believe worship is any act that you make in acknowledgment and confession that “God, You are God, and I am not!”
